Teeth of the Dog

Teeth of the Dog* has a reputation that’s well deserved. Pete Dye’s signature course - #1 in the Caribbean, and #39 in the world - is meticulously hand-carved from the rugged rock and coral of the Dominican coastline.

Make no mistake, if you dare challenge the Dog, it will bite back. Your efforts, however, will be rewarded with 18 holes of jaw-dropping landscape, seven of which overlook the turquoise oceanfront. It's an experience of a lifetime.

*Additional fees will apply. One caddy per foursome is required on Teeth of the Dog. Caddies are optional on other courses. Cash payment to the caddy is required upon completion of the round. Caddy Fees: 1-2 players is US$25 plus gratuity; 3-4 players is US$40 plus gratuity.

The dramatic landscape of the Dye Fore course features a 300-foot deep river gorge and towering mountains. Dye Fore is also home to two par threes ranked among the best in the world.

Dye Fore

Dye Fore by the numbers: 27 holes; 7,740 yards long; 7 cliff-side holes dropping 300 feet to the Chavón River below; and breathtaking 360 views. By any calculations, Dye Fore is a winning formula.

Characterized by spectacular views of the Dominican mountains, the Chavón River, the Marina, and Altos de Chavón, this challenging cliff-side course is a delight for players of all levels.

Dye Fore's par 3s fly across jungle-filled ravines along the cliff's edge. These are ranked among the best in the world.

*Additional fees will apply. A caddy is not required at Dye Fore.

The Links at Casa de Campo requires some sharp short game skills in order to get a decent score. Be prepared for extensive mounding, numerous sound traps, and natural water hazards that come into play on five holes.

The Links

The Links mirror traditional courses found in the British Isles, winding through the interior of Casa de Campo and offering magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea and the Resort grounds.

Another Pete Dye creation, The Links was completely renovated in 2012 to make it every bit as challenging as the other courses at Casa de Campo. Five straight holes on the back nine (nos. 12-16) interact with inland lagoons. With water lurking, the tee shots of the 178-yard 13th and 167-yard 16th holes feel like the most dangerous swings of the day.
